CFT Scholarships

Scholarship Overview

Scholarships are an important part of our mission. We currently manage over 60 scholarship funds and in our 2016 scholarship cycle, in partnership with our generous donors, we awarded over $1.3 million to support students working to reach their full potential in high schools, colleges and universities and professional and continuing education programs across the country.

We are also committed to education through the work of Educate Texas, a public-private initiative of Communities Foundation of Texas. We are dedicated to strengthening the public education system so that every Texas student is prepared for success in school, in the workforce and in life. By strategically connecting the diverse groups committed to this cause - from legislators and funders to business and civic groups to school administrators and teachers - Educate Texas leverages the power of collaboration, bringing together resources and expertise.
