    CFT is offering a special one-day session of GiveWisely on Saturday, March 7, 2020 from 8:30am – 4:30pm. We know that where giving thrives, communities thrive too. Our GiveWisely course is one of CFT’s premier services that will empower you to discover or re-discover your core values and help you think critically about how you give. It will help you further develop your personal approach to philanthropy to propel your passions.

    Attendees will leave this one-day session with a clearer idea of what they want to support, how to do so, and when to say “yes” and “no” based on whether opportunities align with their own focus and values.

    This is a free community event hosted by the New Texas Symphony Orchestra. CFT is a co-funder of the 19th Amendment Centennial Fund, working to create conversations and advance gender equity by supporting a number of community-centered events in celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the 19th Amendment.

    CFT/SMU 2020 Professional Seminar: Washington Update & Planning Considerations for a New Decade

    The morning will kick off with noted speaker Jeff Bush for a one-hour presentation of The Washington Update, covering timely insights of Washington D.C. legislative and fiscal topics.

    Following Jeff's presentation, he'll be joined by Marvin Blum, The Blum Firm, P.C.; Pamela Lucina, Northern Trust; and Jonathan March, Armanino for an engaging 1.5-hour panel discussion for expert insights on how to navigate tax, estate and charitable planning concerns for clients in this important election year.
