Fund for Collin County

Communities Foundation of Texas is pleased to announce the creation of a dedicated Fund for Collin County that will focus on addressing the most urgent needs specific to this vibrant, growing area now and in the future.

In the past ten years alone, CFT has made more than 3,000 grants to organizations in Collin County, totaling more than $38 million. Collin County, along with all of North Texas, has always been extremely generous. On North Texas Giving Day 2017, more than 19,000 gifts were made from Collin County residents totaling more than $8.4 million. We each have our favorite nonprofits that we invest in and support today, but we can also achieve incredible impact for our community when we pool our resources together and invest in the future.

To maintain the vitality of Collin County and all of North Texas, CFT is looking for committed, community-minded, forward-thinking businesses and individuals to help grow this new $500,000 investment in Collin County to over $1 million. Building this fund together will help ensure that there will always be dedicated charitable resources to meet local needs for generations to come. Providing support and funding for our most vulnerable citizens is critical to maintaining the current and future health and vibrancy of this place that we call home.

If supporters can grow the fund to $1 million before April 2018, CFT will begin granting from the fund in 2018. Help us meet the challenge by joining us to invest in Collin County. There are a variety of ways you can give to the Fund for Collin County, such as cash, stocks, bonds, mutual funds, retirement plans, life insurance, IRA and more.
