The annual online fundraising movement encourages everyone to give to causes they care about locally, supporting any of nearly 3,600 participating nonprofits across 20 counties in North Texas. This year’s Giving Day hosts the most nonprofits participating in its seventeen-year history.
In 2024, generous North Texans collectively donated nearly $70 million through North Texas Giving Day, benefiting thousands of nonprofits and causes ranging from education, health, and social services to arts, environment, and animal welfare. Since its launch in 2009, North Texas Giving Day has raised more than half a billion dollars for the region.
“Thousands of nonprofits count on this day to further their missions, said Wayne White, President and CEO at Communities Foundation of Texas. “As we enter this year’s giving season, we’re reminded that the need is great, and the time is now to support our community’s nonprofits. Collective giving transforms lives, and North Texas Giving Day makes it easy to participate. We hope our entire region will join in supporting the causes they care about.”
North Texas Giving Day is more than a fundraiser—it’s a community-wide celebration of generosity. Every gift, no matter the size, has a lasting impact on local nonprofits and the communities they serve. Donations can be made online at NorthTexasGivingDay.org

“North Texas Giving Day empowers every person to support causes they care about in the community,” said Amazon’s Head of Community Affairs in Texas, Vickie Yakunin. “Amazon is proud to invest in this day of giving and to support nonprofits driving change for North Texans today and into the future.”
