Ellen is a development associate for Educate Texas, focused on growing midrange gifts and expanding the program’s capacity to work and engage with internal and external partners.

Prior to joining CFT, Ellen was a development officer at Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center and the assistant director of special events for Children at Risk’s Houston office. She also spent two years teaching sixth and eighth grades at Yes Prep Public Schools in Houston.

Ellen holds a bachelor’s in art history with a minor in poverty and human capability studies from Washington and Lee University.

Ellen is a member of the Junior League of Dallas and the alumni admissions program co-coordinator for Dallas for Washington and Lee University.
