Lori is the community impact specialist for CFT. She joined the organization in 2015 to compile, write and edit CFT’s annual impact report. Since then, her role has morphed into an on-team consultant providing project management and strategy creation. Lori also serves as the staff-to-leadership liaison for CFT’s internal race, diversity, equity and inclusion efforts.
 
Lori has worked for three major daily newspapers, including The Dallas Morning News. She also worked in both the nonprofit and corporate communications sectors and served as an adjunct professor of journalism for a local community college.
 
Lori holds a bachelor's degree in mass communications from Xavier University and a master's degree from Northwestern University Medill School of Journalism.
