As senior director of donor engagement, Melissa builds relationships and connections with fund holders to deepen and enhance their charitable giving experience. She works closely with fund holders by facilitating family meetings, consulting on grantmaking and connecting donors to North Texas nonprofits.


Melissa was previously the coordinator of outreach and communication at the Waco Foundation. Prior to that, she worked with Big Brothers, Big Sisters and taught fourth grade through Teach for America in Atlanta Public Schools.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and public relations and a master’s degree in social work from Baylor University.

Community Leadership / Board Service

Melissa is a member of 100 Women of Lake Highlands and the Lake Highlands Junior Women's League. She also volunteers at Park Cities Baptist Church and at her children's schools - St. James Episcopal School and Lake Highlands Elementary school.
