Tanisia Burton Revis is a Deputy Director of Programs on the Effective Teaching & Leading team with Educate Texas located in Dallas, TX. Her primary responsibilities include supporting the project management, strategy, and project implementation of the Middle School Math Matters initiative as part of the Texas Network of School Improvement (TXNSI).

Prior to joining Educate Texas, Tanisia worked in various teaching and leadership positions across the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex for nearly 20 years. She has served in both traditional school district settings and charter school systems.

Tanisia holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Chicago State University and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership & Policy studies from University of Texas at Arlington. She also holds a certification as a Project Management Professional with the Project Management Institute.
