Trustee Carlos González Peña is president and founder of Peña Search Consulting, LLC.
Before entering the executive search field in 2006, he was vice president for university advancement and public affairs at The University of Texas at Dallas. During his 11 years at UT Dallas, he was responsible for development, government, community and alumni relations.
Carlos also was vice president for customer service for Industrias del Agua in Mexico City, program officer for the Meadows Foundation and program analyst for the Texas Sunset Advisory Commission.
Carlos holds a B.S. from Monterrey Tech in Mexico and a master’s from the LBJ School of Public Affairs at The University of Texas at Austin.
Community Leadership / Board ServiceCarlos is active in the Salesmanship Club of Dallas and the Dallas Assembly. In addition to his service to CFT, his current and former community involvement also includes serving on the boards of The Hockaday School, St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church Foundation, Educational Opportunities and United Way of Metropolitan Dallas.
