Trustee G. Stacy Smith brings a wealth of business and financial experience to the CFT board. Stacy co-founded Trinity Investment Group in 2013, a firm which invests in private equity transactions and hard assets. Since then, he also has served as managing partner of SCW Capital, LP, a small-cap equity hedge fund. In 1997, he co-founded Walker Smith Capital, a Dallas-based small and mid-cap equity hedge fund, where he was a partner and served as a portfolio manager until December 2012.

Stacy holds a bachelor’s of business administration in finance and accounting from the University of Texas at Austin.

In addition to his service to CFT,  Stacy serves on the board of directors of Independent Bank, USD Partners and WhiteHorse Finance, Inc. He is also a member of the Salesmanship Club of Dallas.
