As a program associate, Khirstian works with the College & Career Readiness Schools Model department of Educate Texas. She supports the design, delivery and coordination of professional development and technical assistance, including regional engagement with district and campus leadership, Education Service Centers, workforce partners, and institutions of higher education.

Before joining CFT, she was a Pathways to College and Career teacher at Everman Joe C. Bean High School. Before that, she spent three years at Uplift Hampton Preparatory as the 12th grade level chair and digital media teacher.

Khirstian holds a bachelor’s in communication from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Master of Education in administration from Lamar University.

Khirstian is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., the Arlington Foundation for Excellence in Education’s fundraising and scholarship committee, the United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation, and the City of Arlington Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee.
