As senior business engagement officer in CFT for Business (CFT4B), Kymberlaine guides companies that value being good corporate citizens toward relationships with each other, nonprofit organizations and the community. Her work includes helping businesses develop and execute Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) strategy, stewarding the CFT4B Engagement Network, and collaborating with business and nonprofit leaders to plan employee community engagement and volunteer service.
Prior to joining CFT, Kymberlaine has 35 years of executive expertise in public relations, communications and employee engagement in the corporate arena, with a long history of board and volunteer service in the community.
She holds a certificate in digital communications and media and multimedia digital branding from Southern Methodist University.
COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP / BOARD SERVICE
Kymberlaine graduated from Leadership Garland Class 41 and is serving a second term as chair of the City of Garland Community Multicultural Commission. She’s a member of the Grace Presbytery, PC(USA) social justice task force, a board member at Arts Mission Oak Cliff, a T.A.C.A. grant panelist, and a community volunteer with Garland Overnight Warming Station (GLOWS) and Austin Street Center. She is also a founding partner at Diversity Crew, an equity, inclusion and belonging consultancy.
Past board service includes Lone Star Wind Orchestra, Social Media Dallas, Metropolitan Arts Media, and Good Samaritans of Garland.
