Palacios Area Fund has several ongoing projects throughout the year which support our mission and invest in the community. 

Breakfast with the Stars

The Palacios Area Fund hosts a unique fundraiser for children of all ages.  With assistance from the Art, Theatre Arts, Cosmetology and Culinary Arts department students and staff of Palacios High School, families were invited to come spend the morning with many of their favorite characters and local celebrities. The magical morning included a pancake breakfast, pictures, autographs, and lots of smiles. Many local business and individuals sponsored the event making it fun for everyone. Plans are to resume this fun activity for all in the spring of 2021.

Operation Santa Claus

Palacios Area Fund’s Operation Santa Claus is the largest and oldest non-profit food and gift outreach program in Palacios. Since 1985, Operation Santa has been providing a full holiday meal and distributing wrapped Christmas gifts to community children, families and many senior citizens that are in need during the holiday.

With charitable donations received from caring and generous individuals, businesses and organizations, Palacios Area Fund can provide for these needs. Operation Santa Claus averages close to reaching over 100 households and 300 individuals each year.

Planks on the Pier

Planks on the Pier, a project of the Palacios Area Fund, is a lasting way to honor and memorialize people and events most important in our lives. 

Pick a beautiful day to stroll down the Old Pavilion 4th Street Pier to enjoy both the past and present represented in each plank.
