C. C. Young
C. C. Young is a senior living and care facility north of White Rock Lake. Funds are requested to support the Benevolence Fund, which provides food, shelter, and life-sustaining services for residents who have outlived their income. Funds are also requested for the CCY Cares program, which provides free meals for qualifying seniors in need. Finally, funds are needed to purchase a sedan to assist with transportation needs of seniors.

For Love & Art (FL&A)
For Love & Art (FL&A) brings the Art Experience to those with limited mobility. Termed "therapeutic art," their service stimulates art appreciation while elevating the quality of life psychosocially, cognitively, spiritually and physically for seniors and hospice. FL&A showcases digital images from its partner museums and engages viewers in sharing their thoughts and feelings while viewing. Funding is requested for underwriting art presentations at poor, elderly communities, and professional staffing.

Hearts for Homes (H4H)
Hearts for Homes (H4H), founded in 2006, engages volunteers in providing no-cost home repairs for low-income, elderly Denton County homeowners age 60+. H4H delivers hope and dignity through home rehabilitation, affording low-income seniors a safe and well-functioning home. Since its inception, H4H has served over 147 seniors, mostly women, and continues to serve some 70 homeowners on an ongoing basis to assist with maintenance repairs, build relationships, and help connect them with other services.

Meals-On-Wheels of Tarrant County
Meals-On-Wheels of Tarrant County provides home-delivered meals, professional case management, and other needed items or services to elderly and disabled homebound residents of Tarrant County in response to several community needs: malnutrition, food insecurity, social isolation, and poor mental and physical health. Funds are requested for home-delivered meals, professional case management, and client projects. 98.9% of clients report improved nutritional status from receiving meals.

Mid-Cities Care Corps
Mid-Cities Care Corps works to preserve the independence of senior citizens in Northeast Tarrant County by matching community volunteers with senior citizens to meet critical needs. Funds are needed to recruit and manage volunteers, purchase equipment for the Helping Hands program, and for the "Certified Technicians" fund which hires professional help when a home repair is beyond volunteer capabilities and poses an immediate safety threat to their elderly clients.

Northside Inter-Community Agency (NICA)
Northside Inter-Community Agency (NICA) occupies a location near the Fort Worth Stockyards, an area where many senior citizens are living at or below 125% of the federal poverty level. NICA's mission is to help break the cycle of poverty by helping people in need help themselves. NICA's Good Works program helps 1,027 elderly and disabled citizens preserve their independence and stay in their homes longer. Funds are requested for food, minor home repairs and maintenance for seniors, and for assistance with utility & medical bills.

Senior Citizens of Greater Dallas, Inc. dba The Senior Source
Since 1961, The Senior Source has served as the go-to nonprofit for all aging-related needs. The Senior Source dedicates efforts to providing Dallas area seniors and their families with services, programs, tools, and resources necessary to thrive. Through assistance, protection, and connection, aging needs are met under one roof through the resources at The Senior Source. Funds are requested for financial safety services, caregiver support services, and long-term care ombudsman services.

Sixty and Better is where healthy aging begins. Through their comprehensive, evidence-based approach to aging, Sixty and Better participants significantly increase their activity levels, healthy eating habits, social interaction, and contribute to the community in meaningful ways. A nonprofit, nonpartisan organization, Sixty and Better depends on the generosity of the community to help keep older adults and Boomers engaged and thriving.

Span / Meals on Wheels Denton County
Denton County's Meals on Wheels program helps home-bound seniors meet their daily nutritional needs, provides nutritional education and a daily check-in to participants to help them optimize their health, and allows them to remain in their homes where they are happiest for as long as possible. Funds are requested to help cover a portion of the cost of meals, which are delivered by caring volunteers.

Umphress Terrace
C. C. Young opened Umphress Terrace in 2009 to serve Dallas area seniors. This 53 unit HUD 202 apartment community serves seniors who need financial help. Umphress Terrace offers a homelike environment with modern amenities, wellness programs, learning opportunities, spiritual care and a connection to the community. Residents at Umphress Terrace do not have funds to purchase food on a consistent basis, so a food pantry has been set up. Funds are requested to provide food for the food pantry.
