Contribute to Mass Care Task Force

Mass Care Taskforce partners include the four largest DFW Metroplex human relief agencies: American Red Cross North Texas Region, The Salvation Army Metroplex Command, North Texas Food Bank and the Volunteer Center of North Texas. Together they have created the nation’s first-ever coordinated disaster response preparedness plan with a goal of increasing emergency preparedness to shelter and feed 40,000 individuals. After Dallas sheltered evacuees from Hurricanes Katrina and Rita in 2005, the four nonprofit organizations formed the task force to strengthen their ability to take action in partnership when called upon to respond to a disaster in North Texas or to serve evacuees from a neighboring community.
