Kaleidoscope Park, previously referred to as Community Performance Park, is poised to become one of the most innovative, inclusive, and programmed public greenspaces in North Texas. Kaleidoscope Park is expected to open in late 2023.

Proceeds from more than 125 items offered in Sept. 29 Fall Fine Jewelry auction will go to Communities Foundation of Texas


On Sept. 29, Heritage Auctions will offer more than 125 pieces from Mary Anne Sammons Cree's extraordinary jewelry collection as the centerpiece of the Fall Fine Jewelry Signature® Auction. Proceeds from the sale of Cree’s jewelry will benefit The Rosine Foundation Fund of Communities Foundation of Texas, so named for Mary Anne’s mother, from whom she inherited her spirit of giving.
 

Support for Uvalde

Learn more about supporting relief funds for victims, their families, and others affected by the mass shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas on May 24, 2022


On May 24, 2022, nineteen children and two adults were murdered when an 18-year old gunman entered Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas. Other victims remain in critical condition. According to Texas Department of Public Safety, this is Texas’ deadliest school shooting. 

National Pet Month 2022


It's National Pet Month, and we're thrilled to highlight our latest human-animal connection grantees. In April of 2022, Communities Foundation of Texas awarded $418,500 to nonprofits working to better the lives of animals and North Texas residents alike!

John Bergner celebrated as CFT’s 2022 Vester Hughes Award Recipient

John was honored on May 10 at CFT’s annual Professional Seminar in partnership with Southern Methodist University and at a private reception on May 9.

Communities Foundation of Texas celebrates National Volunteer Month, activating 2,300 volunteers to #DoTheGood in our community during April 2022

CFT for Business engaged over 400 volunteers from 39 member companies through curated volunteer opportunities


Communities Foundation of Texas engaged the community in service during National Volunteer Month 2022. The community-wide effort to #DoTheGood invited businesses, community leaders, nonprofits, individuals, and families to share their time and talent with organizations in need across North Texas.  

In total, 2,300 volunteers gave 11,000 volunteer hours to projects featured by CFT through VOMO.
