
CHRIS KLEINERT
New trustee Chris Kleinert is president and CEO of Hunt Consolidated Investments, L.L.C., a subsidiary of Hunt Consolidated, Inc.
“Chris’ investment experience will be a crucial asset as our board stewards charitable assets across more than 900 component funds at CFT,” said John McStay, chairman of the CFT’s investment committee.
Kleinert’s affiliation with Hunt Consolidated began in 1996. Kleinert now oversees the operations of Hunt Realty Investments, Hunt Investment Group, and Hoodoo Land and Cattle Company.
He received an MBA with a concentration in finance from Texas Christian University and a BBA in marketing from SMU. Prior to joining Hunt, he was employed by Texas Commerce Bank (now JPMorgan Chase) and General Mills.
Kleinert serves on the Investment Committee of the Board of Trustees of Southern Methodist University and the Tate Lecture Board of Directors, as well as the Neely School of Business International Board of Visitors at Texas Christian University. Kleinert also serves on the advisory boards of Amegy Bank - Dallas, Entrepreneurs For North Texas, and the Positive Coaching Alliance’s National Advisory Board. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Dallas Regional Chamber and is a member of the Lone Star Chapter of Young Presidents’ Organization and the Dallas Citizens Council.
In 2009, Kleinert and his wife, Ashlee, founded Executives in Action, a non-profit organization that leverages the talent and expertise of executives in transition with local charitable organizations to enhance their productivity, efficiency and overall impact. The Kleinerts have three children and live in Dallas.

NICOLE G. SMALL
Recently retired as CEO of the Perot Museum of Nature and Science, new trustee Nicole G. Small is well-known for her leadership and her passion for STEM education.
“Nicole brings a unique background in nonprofit leadership and education to the foundation,” said Brent Christopher, president and CEO of CFT. “Her Science-Technology- Engineering-Math (STEM) experience with the museum dovetails perfectly with our education funding and related programs to strengthen preparation of more students for success in life.”
As CEO of the Perot Museum of Nature and Science since 2002, Small directed all aspects of day-to-day operations, as well as the development of the new downtown facility that has garnered international attention.
A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania with an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern, Small has worked at McKinsey & Co., Goldman Sachs, and multiple technology and venture capital firms. She is now the president of the Lyda Hill Foundation.
Small is a member of the Dallas Assembly, YPO, International Women’s Forum, Dallas Committee on Foreign Relations, and Hockaday School Board of Trustees and sits on the board of the BELO Corporation. Small and her husband, Justin, live in Dallas and have two daughters.
