Metro Health Scholarship Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access to healthcare education and workforce opportunities. They provide scholarships, career training support, and community initiatives that empower individuals to pursue certifications in high-demand healthcare fields. Their mission is to break financial barriers, promote economic mobility, and build a stronger, more diverse healthcare workforce across Texas and beyond.

Board and committee members at Metro Health Scholarship Foundation must be passionate and community-minded individuals who are committed to advancing educational access and workforce development in healthcare. Ideal candidates bring experience in one or more of the following areas: education, nonprofit leadership, healthcare, workforce development, fundraising, or community outreach.
While there is no required financial contribution, members are encouraged to give or help secure donations that advance scholarship opportunities and program growth.

Board members are expected to:
- Attend quarterly board meetings (virtually or in person).
- Participate in at least one committee or community initiative.
- Serve as ambassadors for the Foundation by promoting their mission and programs.
- Support fundraising and scholarship efforts through outreach, advocacy, and personal or professional networks.
