Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum
The Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum teaches the history of the Holocaust and advances human rights to combat prejudice, hatred and indifference. Funding will support events that commemorate the struggle for women's right to vote. A free panel presentation and tour will host women scholars who will discuss the creation and significance of the 19th Amendment as well as the struggle to win the vote for non-white women that lasted another 45 years. Funding will also support a film series that will explore women's right to vote. They anticipate serving 200,000 visitors in the next year, ages 12 and older.
