The 2019 Fall Letter of Inquiry (LOI) applications will be due on August 29 at 5pm. You can access the application via the "current opportunities" tab. 

The Fall LOI will be targeted towards programming in the following sector areas:

  • Community Services (Social Services, Veterans, Youth)
  • Environment
  • Health

CFT's Letter of Inquiry (LOI) process supports nonprofits serving clients in Collin, Dallas, Denton, Rockwall and Tarrant counties and which:

  • Train/educate/engage on an issue or topic relevant to the community
  • Utilize best practices, data or proof-points of success
  • Provide or expand direct services or access to resources such as transportation, education/schooling, housing, health care and work opportunities to an area of the community with substantiated need

Additionally, we look to fund programs that either:

  • Address a particularly timely need
  • Are strategic and data-informed
  • Offer innovative or creative solutions to a key community challenge
  • Collaborate in a way where the whole is greater than the sum of its parts, or demonstrate ability to create measurable impact

To apply to CFT's Letter of Inquiry process, your organization must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • Have a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt designation from the Internal Revenue Service that has been active for at least two years as of September 1, 2018.
  • At least 50% of the population served must reside in Dallas, Tarrant, Denton, Collin or Rockwall counties.
  • Churches and religious organizations' programs that are focused on evangelism are not eligible
