Activating a Culture of Wellbeing @ Work

A nonprofit virtual workshop with Beth Kanter & Jarie Bradley

COVID-19 has proved to be especially challenging for individuals working on the front lines during the pandemic. The nonprofit community was called on to both prevent and respond to the consequences of structural inequities as well as to COVID-19, and there are signals that people are reaching their physical, mental, and emotional limits. Nonprofit organizations continue to face extraordinary demand for their services, insufficient staffing, lack of volunteers, and uncertain resources. Leaders struggle to help staff avoid burn-out and maintain a tenuous line between work and home life.

To help nonprofit leaders in the community navigate and thrive in the face of these unprecedented challenges, CFT - with support from Fidelity Charitable - is launching the Resilience Capacity-Building Series, a series of learning and development opportunities for nonprofit leaders and staff over the next 18 months. This series kicks off with CARE – focusing on supporting the wellbeing of nonprofit leaders and staff so that teams can effectively care for themselves while they continue to care for the community.
