Ability Connection


Ability Connection provides services and supports to people living with disabilities within Texas. Our mission is to enrich the lives of people with disabilities, one person at a time. Services and supports are designed to help the member live in the community and not in state institutions.

"Ability Connection is forming a Donor and Corporate Advisory Group to help establish meaningful, productive relationships with individual and corporate donors. Members will be asked to commit to two face-to-face meetings, virtual meetings as needed, and one donor engagement event each year. This group is crucial to help develop strategy and priorities, make introductions, open doors, and advise on branding."

 

ARISE! International


We are a domestic violence center supporting adult women of child sexual abuse through recovery by facilitation of support groups.

Autocare Haven


Autocare Haven is a 501c3 that gives hope to folks in DFW that are down on their luck needing vehicle repairs to continue living productive lives.

Blackland Prairie Raptor Center


BPRC believes in experience-based environmental education that heightens appreciation and respect for birds of prey and their vital role in maintaining a healthy ecosystem through outreach and onsite programming with live education ambassador raptors. We are the only raptor-specific hospital in north Texas receiving an average 600 patients each year then releasing them back into the wild. We are conservationists to restore endangered Blackland Prairie necessary for the survival of many raptor species as well as other wildlife.
 

"BPRC is looking for any skill sets but fundraising, accounting are a plus. Interest in Texas environment and education as well as appreciation of wildlife rehabilitation also helpful."
 

Bold Idea


Bold Idea serves middle school students in North Texas through hands-on learning and mentoring in computer science. Bold Idea collaborates with schools, corporations, and community organizations to help students obtain the technical skills and credentials they need to succeed in today's workforce. 

 

"We're looking for someone with finance/accounting skills to serve as our Treasurer. We're also looking for a board member with a marketing background. Lastly, it would be great to have someone with previous board experience, although it's not a hard requirement."

 

C5 Youth Foundation of Texas


We are a five-year curriculum-based youth leadership development program in the north and central Texas communities. Our program focuses on leadership development, college and career preparation, community service and social awareness in an effort to create leaders in their schools, work and communities. We boast a 100 percent graduation rate and 98 percent of our Leaders are accepted into college or the military.
 

"We are seeking individuals who work in higher education, human resources, legal and marketing. We are in need of African-American and Hispanic board members as well as young professionals."

Chamberlain Performing Arts


Chamberlain is dedicated to serving North Texas and the surrounding community by providing professional quality performances and outstanding outreach programs. Chamberlain Performing Arts takes great pride in the ongoing efforts to expand its cultural diversity through performance collaborations.
 

"We have developed a board matrix to help us maintain a diverse board in background and expertise. We are seeking board members who are African American, Hispanic American, or Latino American descent. We are also seeking board members who have experience in law, accounting, and marketing. We are seeking two new board members for a three-year term ending June 2022."

Computers for the Blind


Computers for the Blind (CFTB) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization devoted to providing computers to persons who are blind or visually impaired. It is our hope that each person who is visually impaired may experience the information age in a positive and productive manner. We receive computers and accessibility software as donations from many sources. Our volunteers clean and rebuild the computers, then set them up with the software to make it possible for visually impaired persons to use them for personal and professional needs.

DataReady DFW


DataReady DFW organization is committed to providing accessible data science training to under served communities across the DFW. We work with all ages and provide our services at no cost to the participant.
