Fine Arts Chamber Players


Fine Arts Chamber Players was founded in 1981 by two professional musicians who sought opportunities to play chamber music in free, accessible public concerts. For nearly 40 years, FACP has fulfilled its mission to enrich and enhance the quality of life for North Texans, especially families and children, through free classical music concerts and educational activities.
 

"We are currently seeking five board members. We are hoping to diversify our board and are looking for people with that include: IT/infrastructure; Communications/PR; Education; Program Management."
 

International Leadership of Texas


ILTexas is the fifth largest charter school in Texas with 18,600 students on 19 campuses in DFW and Houston. Our mission is to prepare students for leadership roles in the international community by emphasizing service leadership, mastering the English, Spanish, and Mandarin Chinese languages, and by strengthening the mind, body, and spirit.
 

"We are looking for two board members with real estate experience and/or background to help the school continue to expand throughout Texas.Fundraising experience to help ILTexas develop philanthropic relationships with foundations and corporate donors."

Kitchen Dog Theater


Kitchen Dog Theater (KDT) produces work that raises questions regarding justice, morality, and human freedom. KDT is a founding member of the National New Play Network. Board members serve a term of three years with the option to serve an additional three at the end of the first term.
 

"KDT is seeking to diversify its board. We are specifically, though not exclusively, looking for professionals with experience in marketing and sales, development (including special events), the legal field, and finance."

MEED Center


MEED Center was established in 1999 by the Greater Dallas Asian American Chamber of Commerce to help the refugee community in Dallas. Services include: entrepreneurial education and basic training for job readiness. MEED Center has graduated hundreds of refugees and other low-income individuals and currently needs four board members.
 

"We are looking for board members with a passion and love for the poor, refugees and low-income population in the community. A belief in 'teaching them how to fish' instead of 'handing them a fish'. Experience running a nonprofit or running a small business and skills in writing or managing a grant development program."

Mission Possible Kids


MPK empowers kids and teens to become "agents of change" in our world through service. We help them become future-ready young citizens ready to contribute to the greater good.
 

"Seeking four mid-level and above executives or ambitious up-and-comers at a managerial or professional level in their field who are influencers in their companies or community and willing to serve as an ambassador to further the work of MPK. Each term is three years and requires participation in board meetings, participating in at least one committee, and a $1000 Give or Get annually."

Mosaic Family Services


Mosaic Family Services is a safe haven for survivors of human rights abuses. We provide culturally competent services to refugees, victims of domestic violence, and survivors of human trafficking. Our mission is to support, educate, and empower the individuals and families of the multicultural communities we serve.
 

"We are looking for board members who have experience in the following categories; Finance /Accounting, PR, Advertising, HR. We are also looking for board members from diverse backgrounds as we serve clients from immigrant communities. Requirements include $1,000 annual give/get contribution; They have twelve board members and seek four additional boardmembers."

New Nations Center


The Mission at New Nation Youth Center is to equip youth and young adults with the skills needed to live a stable and productive life. Stabilizing communities through social services, education, career development and mentoring. 
 

"We need four board members and are looking for experienced board or nonprofit leaders with strategic planning, networking, and organizational skills. The board meets every other month for the first two years and is expected to contribute, assist with fundraising, recruit sponsors and partnerships."

North Texas Military Foundation


The North Texas Military Foundation honors active duty, reserve, and retired military members/veterans through the production of the annual North Texas Military Ball. NTMF has seven board members and needs three.


"We're interested in adding professionals with marketing, communication, development, events management, or finance/investment experience. It would be great to have members with former military experience or a passion for supporting our military."

ONSTAGE in Bedford


ONSTAGE provides quality theatrical entertainment for North Texans at an affordable cost. We're currently facing a huge change in how we operate due to losing our city-provided space.
 

"Diversifying the board is extremely important. We are looking for a volunteer coordinator, a fundraising director, an advertising and sponsorships director, and a treasurer."
