Crossroads Community Services
Crossroads uses a collaborative approach to revolutionize the pantry distribution model through food equity research, client-centered services, and community partner engagement.
Board Member Needs:
The board is seeking eight new members to serve two-year terms beginning in the fall of 2022. Crossroads welcomes all who have a passion for active service and are interested in its mission. Specifically, the board is looking for individuals with the following skillsets:
- Accounting
- Community Leadership/Volunteerism
- Financial Management
- Fundraising
- Health Care
- Marketing/Media and Public Relations
- Physical Plant (Architect, Engineer) and/or Supply Chain/Logistics
- Social Media
- Strategic Planning
- Technology
Requirements:
- Attend quarterly board meetings.
- Make personally significant and meaningful financial contributions in support of Crossroads' annual and capital fundraising activities.
- Identify, cultivate, and solicit donors in support of Crossroads’ annual budget and periodic capital campaigns.
- Prepare for, attend, and constructively participate in most of the board meetings, committee meetings, volunteer and partner events, and fundraising activities.
Other Information:
Board members serve for two years and are eligible for three consecutive terms.
