Interfaith Ministries of Denton


Interfaith Ministries of Denton provides short-term assistance to individuals and families in need. As the primary resource for short-term emergency assistance in northern Denton County, Interfaith serves over 3,000 people a year. Interfaith's goal is to prevent homelessness and help individuals become self-sufficient. Interfaith is supported by several area faith-based affiliates, individual donors, contracts, grant funding, and special events.
 
Board Member Needs:
The board is seeking three new members to serve three-year terms beginning in Spring or Summer 2022. Interfaith seeks board members with a heart for service and preferred experience in the areas of fundraising, legal, or accounting.
 
Requirements:

  • Attend monthly, one-hour board meetings.
