The Elizabeth Abrams Memorial Scholarship
The Elizabeth Abrams Memorial Scholarship: is a one-year, $3,000 scholarship for graduating seniors of Plano East, Plano West, Plano Sr. High School or John Paul II High School that were members of the school swim team their senior year. Given to honor the spirit, strength and contribution of Elizabeth “Lizzie” Abrams.
Eligibility & Selection Criteria:
- Eligible candidates must have a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4-point scale.
- Applicants must have a minimum SAT score of 1030, and a minimum ACT score of 20.
Selection criteria
Selection criteria include scholastic achievement, athletic and community participation, leadership skills and essay response.
Financial need is not a strong selection factor for this scholarship.
All applicants must provide 2 recommendations from teachers or counselors and provide an essay response.
