Communities Foundation of Texas (CFT) is privileged to partner with our generous donors on the following scholarship opportunities. The 2022 Universal Application is available to students through our new scholarship portal. 

Please read the scholarship descriptions carefully to understand the criteria. No documentation will be accepted outside of the application portal or after the scholarship deadline that is listed below.


Common Cents Scholarship

The Common Cents Scholarship provides up to two scholarships, each in the amount of up to $3,000 to students who have participated in the Dallas ISD Common Cents philanthropy program.

Dallas Athletic Club Scholarship

The Dallas Athletic Club Scholarship provides one-year scholarships of up to $5,000 each, to Dallas Athletic Club employees and immediate family members at any accredited 2-year or 4-year college or university or trade/vocational schools within the United States.

Dallas Geological Society

The Dallas Geological Society are one-year awards of up to $5,000 given to current undergraduate and graduate students pursuing a degree in Geological Sciences.

Denbury Scholarship

The Denbury Scholarship provides one-year awards of up to $5,000 to employees, children or dependents of employees at Denbury Inc. attending any college, university, trade or vocational school in the United States or its possessions.

Dr. Anson L. Clark Scholarship Fund

The Dr. Anson L. Clark Scholarship Fund provides multiple scholarships of up to $20,000 total to graduating seniors from Dallas Independent School District (DISD) schools to support attending an accredited college or university in the State of Texas.

East Austin Vocational School Scholarship Fund

The East Austin Vocational School Scholarship Fund provides scholarships of up to $5,000 for students who intend to pursue a degree through the Austin Community College District.

ECLAT Foundation Scholarship

The ECLAT Foundation Scholarship provides one-year $2,000 scholarships to graduating seniors or college students that plan to or attend an accredited college or university in the State of Texas.

Elizabeth Anne Ala Scholarship

The Elizabeth Anne Ala Scholarship provides one scholarship of up to $2,000 to a graduating senior of any high school in Garland ISD that has participated and excelled in the bilingual studies/ESL program.

Father of the Year Scholarship and Gregory Sampson Scholarship

The Father of the Year Scholarship and Gregory Sampson Scholarship provides one-year awards of $5,000 to graduating high school seniors from a high school in Dallas, Tarrant, Collin or Denton counties in Texas.
