We offer 34 scholarships. Find the one for you.

Scholarships are an important part of our mission. We manage 34 scholarship funds and in 2012, we awarded over $630,000 in scholarship money which is helping many students reach their full potential in high schools, colleges and continuing education across the country.

We welcome applicants for the following 34 scholarships. Applications are typically due in early spring and decisions will be made by July 31. Review scholarships below to find a fit for you. Be sure to check application due dates and apply online.

Scholarships in Dallas
 

Believe and Achieve Scholarship

Scholarships of as much as $500 a semester for four years are awarded annually to graduates of the mentoring program at Trinity River Mission in West Dallas. Selection is based on scholastic achievement, school and community participation, leadership and completion of the Believe and Achieve program.

Mr. and Mrs. W.L. Boyd Schooling Fund

Scholarships awarded annually to graduating seniors from any high school in Collin County, Texas. These are two-year to four-year scholarships ranging in amount from $1,000/year to $2,000/year that may be used at any accredited college or university in the state of Texas. Selection is based on academic achievement, school and civic activities and financial need.

Bridges Scholarship

Scholarships awarded to entering ninth grade students at Bishop Lynch High School who demonstrate financial need.

Bridges College Scholarship

Scholarships awarded to graduating seniors and past graduates of Bishop Lynch High School in Dallas, Texas. This one-year scholarship of up to $10,000 per year may be used to attended any post-secondary institution in the United States.

Dr. Anson L. Clark Scholarship

Scholarships awarded to graduating seniors of public high schools within Dallas ISD. This four-year scholarship of up to $3,000 per year (up to $1,500 per semester for eight semesters) may be used at any accredited college or university in the state of Texas. Selection is based on academic achievement, SAT or ACT scores, school and civic activities and financial need.

Common Cents Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to students who participate in the Common Cents philanthropic program at Dallas ISD schools.

Consumer Credit Counseling Scholarship

This scholarship was established by Consumer Credit Counseling Services (CCCS) of Greater Dallas and offers one-year scholarships of up to $3,000 per year (up to $1,500 per semester) to CCCS of Greater Dallas clients who have successfully completed a Debt Management Plan and to immediate family members of such successful CCCS clients.

Dallas Area Paralegal Association Scholarship

Scholarships available to students in the Dallas-Fort Worth area enrolled in paralegal programs at the following institutions: Collin County Community College, El Centro Community College, Everest College, Southeastern Career Institute, Tarrant County Junior College, Texas Wesleyan University and Texas Woman's University.

DGS (Dallas Geological Society)
Helsewick/Shepherd/Sistrunk/Stanley/Dodge Scholarship

This is a one-time scholarship awarded to Dallas-area college students studying geological sciences.

Bob Edge Scholarship

Awarded to real estate professionals pursuing professional certification in real estate related areas.

Les Dames d'Escoffier Scholarship

The Les Dames d’Escoffier Scholarship Fund will award a one-time scholarship of $1,000 to an outstanding female student at Collin or Tarrant Community Colleges, who has an interest in pursuing a career in Hospitality and Food Service Management, Hotel Restaurant Management or Pastry Arts. Selection will be based upon academic achievement, school and community participation, demonstrated leadership abilities and financial need as determined by the committee.

Excellence in AP® Arts and Music Theory Award Scholarship

The O'Donnell Foundation is pleased to sponsor an annual AP Arts and Music Theory Award Scholarship to recognize four outstanding high school seniors who have participated or are currently participating in the Dallas area AP Arts and Music Theory Incentive Program. Each scholarship will be in the amount of $20,000 to be paid in four annual $5,000 increments, subject to the renewal.

The Father of the Year Scholarship

This scholarship for students in financial need who have achieved an average degree of academic excellence will provide the means for the selected student(s) to attain a quality education. One or more one-year scholarships of up to $5,000 per year ($2,500/semester) may be awarded each year. Selection is based on school and community participation, demonstrated leadership potential, and financial need.

Matheon Scholarship

Scholarships of as much as $1,500 are awarded to female students who intend to pursue and/or continue their education in the Humanities, Sciences or Fine Arts. Applicants must attend a college or university in Texas and be a graduating senior from one of the following schools: Berkner High School, Bishop Lynch High School, Episcopal School of Dallas, Greenhill School, Highland Park High School, Hillcrest High School, The Hockaday School, J.J. Pearce High School, Thomas Jefferson High School, Lake Highlands High School, Richardson High School, Ursuline Academy, W.T. White High School or Woodrow Wilson High School.

C.C. Miao and Rosalind Miao Scholarship

Scholarships primarily for undergraduate studies at any accredited college or university in the state of Texas. To be eligible to apply, applicant must be from the Dallas area and must be of Chinese ethnic heritage - either born in China, Hong Kong or Taiwan, or born in the United States and have parents or grandparents who were born in China, Hong Kong or Taiwan. Selection is based on academic achievement and financial need.

Southwestern Engineering Scholarship

One-time scholarships of up to $1,000 awarded to graduating seniors at Dallas-area high schools who plan to study engineering or the physical sciences related to the exploration and development of oil and gas at any accredited college or university.

Stevie Ray Vaughan Scholarship

College scholarships of $1,000 awarded to eighth-grade students at Greiner Academy for the Arts in Oak Cliff. Renewable for up to four years.

The Sylvan Landau Founders Scholarship

This scholarship is for a graduating senior at a high school in Dallas, Tarrant, Collin or Denton Counties in Texas who are in financial need who have achieved an average degree of academic excellence. This scholarship will provide the means for the selected student(s) to attain a quality education majoring in business or marketing at an accredited college or university in the state of Texas. One or more one-year scholarships of up to $5,000 per year ($2,500/semester) may be awarded each year. Selection is based on school and community participation, demonstrated leadership potential, and financial need.
 

Scholarships in Dallas-fort Worth
 

The Press Club of Dallas Foundation Scholarship

The Press Club Foundation Scholarship Fund awards one or more one-year scholarships up to a total of $15,000 to current college students who have graduated from a high school in the DFW Metroplex, completed at least 45 hours of collegiate coursework, and are currently pursuing a college degree in the communications field, to include print and broadcast journalism, public relations and advertising.

Vent-A-Hood Scholarship

Scholarships awarded to children and dependents of Vent-A-Hood and Milestone Distributors employees. This one-year scholarship of up to $2,000 may be used at any accredited college or university in the United States or its possessions. Selection is based on academic achievement, school and civic activities, and financial need.

Statewide Scholarships in Texas
 

Chadick Family Scholarship

One-time scholarships of up to $4,000 awarded to a graduating high school senior in Wood or Franklin counties in Texas. Applicants must submit a 2-3 page essay on some aspect of history prior to 1946 in Wood and/or Franklin counties.

Grady Graves Scholarship

Four-year scholarships of up to $5,000 per year awarded to graduating seniors of Crowell High School in Crowell, Texas.

The Kristofer Robinson Scholarship

Scholarships awarded annually to paraplegic and quadriplegic students who are residents of the state of Texas. Assistance is provided for tuition, books and necessary appliances related to the particular needs of the student to pursue an education at any accredited school in the state of Texas, whether public or private, including elementary school, junior high school, high school, technical school, college or university and graduate school. This award of up to $5,000 per year is renewable for up to four years.

Littlefield Wildcat Athletic Scholarship

Scholarship is awarded annually to a graduating senior at Littlefield High School in Littlefield, Texas, who intends to pursue a baccalaureate degree. This one-time scholarship of up to $2,000 may be used at any accredited college or university in the United States or its possessions. Selection is based on academic achievement, SAT or ACT scores, school and civic activities and financial need.

Palacios Area Scholarships

The Palacios Area Scholarships will be awarded to current graduating seniors of the Palacios High School in the state of Texas. The purpose of the Fund shall be to assist students by awarding up to three annual scholarships, one annually for each named scholarship. Those scholarships are the Billy and Carolyn Bradshaw Fund for Handicapped Students of Palacios, Edward O. Morris Endowment Scholarship Fund, and Smith/Holst Endowment Scholarship Fund.

Jack Ford Shelby Scholarship

Scholarship awarded annually to a graduating senior at Littlefield High School in Littlefield, Texas, who intends to pursue a baccalaureate degree. This one-time scholarship of up to $5,000 may be used at any accredited college or university in the United States or its possessions. Selection is based on academic achievement, SAT or ACT scores, school and civic activities, and financial need.

Lowell and Elinor Wilkes Scholarship

One-time scholarship awarded annually to a graduating high school senior in Hill County, Texas.

Wendy Ella Guilford Scholarship

The Wendy Ella Guilford Scholarship assists students by awarding an annual scholarship(s) in the maximum amount of $2,000 per year per student to a deserving student who intends to pursue a baccalaureate degree or advanced degree at any accredited college or university in the United States or its possessions. Applicants must be current graduating seniors of a high school in Dallas County, Tarrant County or Denton County, Texas who have the vision and values of and show potential of doing honor to the name of Wendy Ella Guilford.

Scholarships in Arkansas
 

Cecil Smith Scholarship

A four-year scholarship of $1,250 per year awarded annually to graduates of Greenwood High School in Arkansas.

Roy and Mae Smith Scholarship

A four-year scholarship of $1,250 a year awarded annually to graduates of Charleston High School in Arkansas.

Scholarships in Oklahoma
 

Charles E. Crow Memorial Scholarship

A four-year scholarship of $1,250 a year awarded annually to graduates of Big Pasture High School in Randlett, Oklahoma.

Ruth Ray Hunt Legacy of Learning Scholarship

Scholarship awarded to one or more graduating seniors at Idabel Senior High School in Idabel, Oklahoma. This scholarship of up to $5,000 per year (up to $2,500 per semester) may be used at any accredited college or university in the United States . The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic achievement, SAT or ACT scores, participation in school and civic activities, demonstrated leadership potential and financial need.

Nationwide Scholarships: No Geographic Limitations
 

General James H. Doolittle Scholarship

One or more annual scholarships of as much as $5,000 awarded to a college junior, senior or graduate student pursuing a degree in aerospace science or aeronautical engineering.

The Horticultural Printers Scholarship in Memory of Harold & Beky Vanberg

Scholarships awarded to children and/or dependents of employees of IntegraColor. This one-year scholarship of up to $5,000 per year (up to $2,500 per semester for two semesters) may be used at any accredited college or university in the United States. Selection is based on academic achievement, SAT or ACT scores, school and civic activities and financial need.
