Gunjan Jain

Principal, Jain Family Office

Gunjan Jain is an accomplished business and nonprofit leader, strategist and community advocate with extensive experience spanning Medtech, hospitality, education and philanthropy. She currently serves as Principal of the Jain Family Office and Co-Founder and Board Chair of Aatmic Philanthropy, a private foundation with a mission to catalyze meaningful, sustainable impact by investing in and scaling innovative solutions, empowering communities worldwide to flourish.

Previously she held various finance and accounting roles including finance director at Hyatt International Hotels in Chicago, as well as the financial controller for Vision Healthsource that eventually was sold to Perot Systems. Most recently she was acting controller for Access Healthcare Services, acquired by New Mountain Capital in 2025.

Gunjan is a graduate of the University of Delhi with a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce. She is a Chartered Accountant by profession in India and also holds a CPA certification in the U.S. along with a certification from Harvard Business School’s Governing for Nonprofit Excellence program.

COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP / BOARD SERVICE

Gunjan has been involved with various nonprofits and most recently served as global board chair for The Global Fund for Children (GFC), an organization she has been involved in for more than a decade. GFC invests in small grassroots organizations that transform the lives of the world’s most vulnerable children. Over the years, it has helped over 600 organizations and touched the lives of more than 10 million children over 78 countries.

Gunjan also created “Kids Against Hunger” for the North Texas Food Bank, a new volunteer program geared toward children ages 7-9; helping them understand the fight against hunger. She served on the Stop Hunger, Build Hope capital campaign committee, completed in 2018, for the North Texas Food Bank which raised $55 million to increase its capacity from serving 60 million meals to 90 million meals in North Texas. Gunjan and her husband Anurag also co-chaired the Food Bank’s historic Nourishing North Texas comprehensive campaign, the largest social services campaign in the region, raising $500 million between 2020-2023. The Jains further represented the Food Bank as selected 2022 NorthPark Ambassadors.

Additionally, Gunjan is actively involved in institutes of education. Locally she served on the capital campaign committee for the Lamplighter School that raised $15 million for a world class STEM facility in Dallas and currently serves on the Board of Trustees for Parish Episcopal School, where she chaired the advancement committee. Gunjan also serves on the Dean’s Advisory Council for the University of Michigan’s Stamps School of Art & Design.
