José (Pepe) Guevara

CEO, Pecan Grove Farms

José (Pepe) Guevara is CEO of Pecan Grove Farms, the largest pecan grower in Texas and a top-ten producer globally, where he has led the company through more than a decade of rapid growth — including large-scale land development, orchard revitalization, and complex multi-bank credit financing across the Southwest.

Before Pecan Grove Farms, Pepe spent 20 years at Boston Consulting Group, where he became a Partner and Managing Director leading value-creation work for corporations and private equity funds across developed and emerging markets. He also founded Millstone Assets, focused on cross-generational wealth preservation strategies.

Pepe holds an MBA from INSEAD and a B.S. from Tecnológico de Monterrey. He is an Executive Member of the Latino Corporate Directors Association, serves on the board of KIPP Texas Public Schools, and mentors entrepreneurs through Endeavor.org.

He is fluent in English and Spanish, functional in Portuñol, and conversational in French.

“Serving at CFT means making good on the promises of those who entrust us with their legacy.  But most importantly, it consigns upon trustees the obligation to deliver a better and  more vibrant community; both for those yet to come as well as those who do not currently have a seat at the table. I am honored to have been entrusted with this challenge alongside an extraordinary group of individuals.” — Pepe Guevara

COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP / BOARD SERVICE

In addition to his service to CFT, Pepe’s interests in education and entrepreneurship have led him to occupy a seat on the board of KIPP: TEXAS and serves as mentor at Endeavor.org
