As deputy director of policy and advocacy, Samantha supports the Educate Texas team in Austin through research, analysis, and programming.
Prior to joining CFT, Samantha worked with community organizations and nonprofits to advance education progress through policy analysis, community outreach and more. She was an adviser and mentor to college students at the University of Texas’s Center for Community Engagement and supported student organizing efforts. She also has experience working on campaigns and in legislative offices during the 87th legislative session.
Samantha holds a bachelor’s in child learning and development from the University of Texas at Dallas and a Master of Education Policy from the University of Texas at Austin.
