Sarah Losinger

Civic Leader

Trustee Sarah Losinger is a community volunteer who is highly active in the philanthropic and nonprofit sector. She has extensive grantmaking experience through her chairmanship of the McCune Charitable Foundation and is a former chair of the UT Southwestern Medical Center’s Friends of the Alzheimer Disease Center.

Sarah serves on the boards of Letot Capital Foundation, Southwestern Medical Foundation (as an honorary trustee), the AT&T Performing Arts Center, and For Oak Cliff.

Sarah formerly served on the board of the Salvation Army. She also was also a City of Dallas District 13 Municipal Library Board appointee, where she served as board chair. She is a Leadership Texas 2007 graduate and a past chair of the Philanthropy Southwest annual conference. For 25 years, she has been a presenter to DISD’s anti-victimization program, WHO.

Sarah was a founding member of the Women for Girls program through Girls, Inc. In 2012, She was honored as the outstanding volunteer fundraiser by the Dallas Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.

She is also on the advisory council for the Dallas Women’s Foundation, the Center for Nonprofit Management, and Dallas Afterschool. She is also a foundations advisor for the Crystal Charity Ball.

Sarah holds a B.S. in special education from the University of Oklahoma.
