NTX Giving Day

The event helps build awareness and support for nonprofits like nothing else. In 2020, $58.8 million was raised through 106,000 donors benefiting over 3,200 local nonprofits, bringing the twelve-year total to over $375 million for our community. NTX Giving Day is the largest community-wide giving event in the nation.

Since its inception in 2009, this online event has transformed from an idea to help local people give wisely, to a movement that has ignited a broad culture of community-wide giving. During NTX Giving Day, everyone has the opportunity to be a philanthropist to build a stronger and more vibrant community.

Since our inception in 1953, we have made more than $2 billion in grants to support education, health care, public safety, social services, animals and the arts – touching nearly all aspects of life in our community.

In the 2020 fiscal year, we awarded grants totaling $138 million. A breakdown of how the grants were invested is shown below, which includes donor-advised, designated and community impact grants. The only way to apply for funding from our donor-advised funds, nonprofit agency funds, Caruth fund, community impact and discretionary funds is through the grant opportunities that are listed on the Apply for Grant page of this website.
