Community foundations are uniquely situated to improve their regions by creating and supporting solutions and partnerships with donors and nonprofits. CFT has served North Texas for more than 70 years, and we’ve granted $3 billion to nonprofits since our inception. Our vision is a thriving community for all.
CFT’s North Texas Giving Day is one of the ways we seek to achieve this vision, by growing community giving and expanding community impact. In September, North Texans collectively gave $78 million in an record-breaking outpouring of support for 3,500 local nonprofits. We extend heartfelt thanks to each of the individuals, families, and businesses who supported the causes they care about through NorthTexasGivingDay.org this year, especially during a time when charitable giving continues to decrease across the nation.
