The Texas High School Project (THSP) hosted its second annual Leadership Forum conference in Bastrop on February 7 and 8. A part of the Communities Foundation of Texas, THSP is a unique organization that brings together, partners with, and aligns the work of influential public and private groups committed to improving education in our state. This year, more than 150 people attended the Leadership Forum, including state and national representatives from philanthropy, education, policy, community and business.
Texas’ 82nd legislative session provided a unique backdrop to this year’s conference, driving an increased interest in sustaining and enhancing the state’s education system while adjusting to the current challenging fiscal environment.
