Cynthia Mickens Ministries, Inc. (CMM) is a nonprofit organization committed to transforming lives to transform communities. We address critical needs in southern Dallas County—specifically food insecurity, housing instability, and educational support for at-risk youth—through programs like our transitional housing for single mothers, a robust food pantry, a summer STEAM Learning and Feeding Camp, and the PATH Organic Community Garden. Board members play a vital role in advancing our mission by offering strategic guidance, community connections, and leadership support to help scale our impact.

CMM is looking for board members with skills or experience in:
- Residential/Retail Development
- Construction
- Engineering
- Financing
CMM recently completed a master plan that includes 34 housing units, a multipurpose building, and rental space. We need board members who are knowledgeable about affordable housing, mixed use space, and impact investing.
- Board members are asked to make an annual financial contribution of $500
- Board members meet every six weeks
- Board service terms last two years
