Elevate North Texas offers a welcoming, affirming environment with immediate, short-term housing and personal case management for youth (18-24) in crisis, partnering with them to create a path to housing stability. In their five-year history, Elevate North Texas has guided hundreds of youth in Dallas and Collin County to housing stability and away from the risks of living on the streets.
Guided by their passionate Founder/Executive Director, their committed and talented board, and their small but impactful staff, Elevate has grown from providing two temporary beds in 2021, to 20 beds in 2025.
Elevate’s unique model is asset light, staff light, and bureaucracy light, so that most of their donor dollars can go directly to shelter and personal case management. Elevate partners with local hotels to provide up to 60 days of shelter, where youth can be safe while case managers guide them to stable housing outcomes.
Chronic homelessness is a growing challenge in North Texas, and around our nation. Elevate’s first priority is the safety of each individual they serve. However, Elevate also believes that their role in diverting young adults from a life of homelessness can meaningfully reduce the number of adults who find themselves chronically homeless in the future.
If you are interested in serving on this board, please contact Kathryn Patterson at kathrynp@elevatentx.org.
