Lone Star CASA

  • The mission of Lone Star CASA is to elevate the voices of children in Kaufman and Rockwall County who have experienced abuse and neglect by providing trained volunteer advocates to work alongside children and their families so they can achieve safety and stability to fulfill their future.

Further, it is the goal of Lone Star CASA to provide a Guardian ad Litem to every child in need within the two-county program area. Board service terms last two years.

  • Board members should:

    • Demonstrate a passion for serving children who have experienced abuse and neglect.
    • Reside in, or have a vested interest in, Kaufman or Rockwall County.
    • Commit approximately 10 hours per month to board service.
    • Contribute $1,500 annually through a personal donation or by securing gifts.

If you are interested in serving on this board, please contact Lauren Rowe at lauren@Lonestarcasa.org.
