Pegasus Contemporary Ballet’s mission is to use the classical foundation of ballet to express contemporary perspectives, engage diverse communities, and enrich the human experience. Pegasus Contemporary Ballet frequently partners with other art forms to create unique performances that appeal to a wide variety of audiences.

Board members should have:
- Legal expertise, especially arts-related
- Experience with fundraising, development, and corporate sponsorship
- Skills in public relations and marketing
- Familiarity with grant writing
Note: There is also new Pegasus Young Professionals advisory board. Dues are $25 annually, and requirements include working at performances as an usher, ticket purchase or selling merchandise. Members must attend 2 cocktail parties per year with Pegasus Contemporary Ballet dancers, and all members receive 1 complimentary ticket.
These positions are open to all in the Dallas area – you’re invited to be a brand ambassador!

Board members must:
- Meet monthly
- Make a personal gift of $250 and contribute an additional $2500 throughout the year via donations/successful grant application/ticket sales/introduction to new donors
- Help sell and purchase tickets to shows
Board service terms last one year or more.
