The mission of Philanthropy Kids is to celebrate and inspire young changemakers through education, leadership, and hands-on philanthropy experiences.

Philanthropy Kids is looking for new board members to begin terms in the Spring of 2026. The organization encourages applications from individuals who can support:
- Storytelling – familiarity with marketing and communication strategies, media relations, public relations, social media, etc.
- Partnerships – community business leaders who can engage Philanthropy Kids’ programming with their own communities and/or provide resources in-kind at a large scale (this can include PTA, community serve organizations such as National Charity League, Young Men’s Service League, etc., and other groups that can help build relationships
- Fundraisers – either high net worth individuals willing to make major gifts and activate their networks to do the same OR individuals with strong relationships with granting foundations and corporations that can fund Philanthropy Kids’ work

- Attend quarterly board meetings
- Commit to a donation once a year in an amount meaningful to you
