Rebuilding Together North Texas (RTNTX) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping low-income homeowners remain safe and independent in their homes. The organization provides critical home repairs and accessibility modifications at no cost to qualified households, focusing on seniors, people with disabilities, veterans, and families with children. By mobilizing skilled volunteers, community partners, and donors, RTNTX strengthens neighborhoods, prevents displacement, and improves quality of life.

Rebuilding Together North Texas, a highly regarded nonprofit dedicated to providing critical home repairs for low-income homeowners, is looking for new board members with expertise in: Senior Citizens; Military Service; Real Estate; Public Relations; Business Development; and Dallas Philanthropy.
They are seeking dedicated, experienced professionals who:
- Have a strong network of potential donors and sponsors
- Thrive on action. We are a working board-every member takes on essential fundraising and development tasks
- Deliver on commitments. A high “Say/Do” ratio is key to success on our board
- Embrace the mission and values. You should feel comfortable building relationships with sponsors, sharing our stories, and making or securing financial contributions of at least $5,000 annually. This is Give or Get.
- Have nonprofit experience (preferred but not required)
- Have strong interpersonal skills and a passion for making a difference
- Have a willingness to lead, contribute, and inspire others to join the cause.

Board members must:
- Actively participate
- Attend monthly board meetings (held on the 4th Tuesday in Plano/Allen/McKinney area).
- Engage with committees
- Serve on at least two committees to help drive the mission forward
- Support events
- Attend all major events and bring potential new donors to the table.
- Help lead fundraisers
- Cultivate relationships with sponsors and donors, confidently advocate for higher levels of support, and help expand the network
New board members will receive a comprehensive board membership packet outlining all commitments and opportunities to make an impact.
- VISIT THEIR SITE
