Shakespeare Dallas is seeking board members who bring a wide range of professional expertise and perspectives to help guide Shakespeare Dallas into its next chapter.
Experience in finance, accounting, or investment is especially valuable as we steward resources responsibly and plan for long-term sustainability.
Shakespeare Dallas is also eager to welcome leaders with PR, marketing, communications, or brand strategy backgrounds who can help amplify our story and reach new audiences across North Texas.
That said, the organization values all kinds of expertise—from legal, education, real estate, and technology to fundraising, community engagement, and entrepreneurial leadership.

Board members must:
- Contribute $1,500 in yearly board dues
- Attend monthly meetings
- Have a shared belief in the power of accessible arts, a collaborative spirit, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves in service of The People’s Theatre
Board members serve for an initial one-year term, followed by three-year terms.
