Urban Dreams Music & Arts Program (UDMAP) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to empowering underrepresented youth through access to high-quality music, arts, and STEAM education. They blend creative expression with college and career-readiness initiatives, helping students develop the technical, artistic, and leadership skills needed to thrive in today’s economy. Through partnerships with schools, colleges, and community organizations, Urban Dreams Music & Arts Program builds pathways that connect creativity with opportunity.

Urban Dreams Music & Arts Program is seeking dynamic, community-minded professionals passionate about arts education, youth development, and equity in STEAM learning. Ideal members bring expertise or interest in areas such as fundraising, grant writing, corporate partnerships, marketing, or community engagement.
Members should be creative thinkers, strong collaborators, and enthusiastic advocates for Urban Dreams Music & Arts Program (UDMAP).
The Development & Advancement Advisory Committee supports the organization’s long-term sustainability by driving fundraising, visibility, and partnership strategies. Members may serve in one or more focus areas—Grant Champion, Connector, or Ambassador, each playing a vital role in achieving the committee’s collective annual goal of $50,000+.
UDMAP is entering an exciting growth phase and seeking committed leaders to help them scale their arts and STEAM programs across Texas. Committee members will play a key role in expanding donor engagement, developing strategic partnerships, and elevating the organization’s visibility in the arts and education communities.

Board members must:
- Attend quarterly meetings (virtual or in-person) and participate in at least one subcommittee check-in or planning session.
- Engage in one or more fundraising campaigns or community engagement initiatives per year.
- Contribute a personal or in-kind gift of $500–$1,000 annually or help secure equivalent external support.
- Bring in $2,500–$5,000 in individual donations or event ticket sales annually
- Actively leverage networks to assist with grant development, sponsorships, or donor cultivation aligned with UDMAP’s mission.
- Serve as a public ambassador for UDMAP sharing events, introducing partners, and representing the organization in the community.
