Carter Creech Scholarship

  • Carter Creech Scholarship

    The Carter Creech Scholarship provides scholarships up to $8,000 to graduating seniors of Lincoln County, Missouri to pursue an undergraduate degree at a four-year college or university. Annual scholarships will range from $4,000 to a maximum of $8,000. Recipients can reapply each year and be considered for additional aid for up to four years.

    Deadline: April 1, 2026
    • Eligible applicants must have a minimum of 3.0 on a 4.0 unweighted GPA scale or 3.5 weighted GPA and a minimum SAT score of 1310 and/or a minimum ACT score of 28.
    • Ranked in the top 10% of their graduating class.
    • Completed at least one Honors/AP Course in each of the four core areas: Math, English, Science and Social Science earing a “B” or better in each core course.
    • Completed at least two units of foreign language with a “B” average or better.
    • Applicants must be graduating seniors of an accredited public high school in Lincoln County, Missouri.
    • Applicants must be United States citizens or documented legal resident of the United States.
  • Selection criteria includes academic achievement, demonstrated leadership potential (through community participation, extra-curricular activities, awards, etc.), and potential for future success. Financial need may be considered when candidates are otherwise equally qualified.

    Applicants are required to complete the FAFSA prior to applying in order to complete the Financial Need Section of the General Application and provide two letters of recommendation from teachers, counselors, coaches or community leaders.
