Garrett Electronics Scholarship
The Garrett Electronics Scholarship provides scholarships of up to $5,000 per year to past high school graduates, graduating high school seniors, and current college students who are employed by or dependents of Garrett Electronics, Inc. who intend to pursue a degree at any accredited 2-year or 4-year college or university, or graduate school in the United States or its possessions.
Deadline: April 1, 2026 -
- Applicants must be in good standing as a student if currently enrolled in school.
- Applicants must have a cumulative high school or college GPA of 3.00 on a 4.0 scale. There is no minimum requirement for adult students returning to school.
- Applicants must be past high school graduates, graduating seniors, or current college students.
- Applicants must be United States citizens or documented legal residents of the United States.
- Applicants must be employees of Garrett Electronics, Inc. in Garland, Texas or immediate family members of a Garrett Electronics, Inc. employee (immediate family member is defined as a child, step-child or dependent, grandchild, with preference given to employees first, then children over grandchildren).
- Eligible Garrett Electronics, Inc. employees are defined as those in good standing who have been employed with the Garrett Electronics, Inc. part-time or full time for at least 12 consecutive months at the time of the application deadline.
- Employees must be employed at the time the scholarships are awarded in order for applicants to remain eligible.
- Executive Leadership Team members and their immediate families are not eligible to apply.

- Academic achievement, two written letters of recommendation, aspirations and ideals as expressed in an essay, school activities and extracurricular activities, and demonstrated leadership potential.
- No immediate relatives of the Committee are eligible.
