JHG Texas Fund for Nursing Scholarships

The shortage of registered nurses in Texas and nationally is a critical, major public health problem.  By 2036, the nursing shortage in Texas alone is predicted to be 57,000 RN’s, a 16% shortfall. The cost of four years of college level nursing studies to earn a BSN is a daunting barrier for student nurses to enter the workforce.  Your contribution to JHG Texas helps overcome the shortage of registered nurses by providing nursing studies scholarships to qualified nursing students who would otherwise be unable to afford the full cost of attending nursing school.

Pledges of $5,000 or more may memorialize a loved one or bear the name of a private donor or organization. JHG Texas also seeks bequests from individuals and multi-year grants from foundations to ensure that future JHG Texas Nursing Scholarships may be awarded on a sustainable, ongoing basis.

All of us at JHG Texas sincerely thank you for joining in with fellow donors through your pledge to alleviate the critical shortage of well trained nurses in our North Texas community.

Donations via credit card may be made below or make your checks payable to:
