WHAT:
Communities Foundation of Texas’ North Texas Giving Day, the nation’s largest community-wide giving event, returns September 17. The Giving Day season officially kicks off on August 27 via www.northtexasgivingday.org. The annual online fundraising movement encourages everyone to give to causes they care about locally, supporting more than 3,000 nonprofits across 20 counties in North Texas.

In 2025, more than 100,000 North Texans gave $78 million to thousands of local nonprofits, representing causes from education, health, and social services to arts, the environment, and animal welfare. Since its launch in 2009, North Texas Giving Day has raised more than $712 million for the region.

North Texas Giving Day is a one-stop shop for supporting local nonprofits and a community-wide celebration of generosity. Every gift, no matter the size, has a lasting impact on local nonprofits and the communities they serve.
