City of Dallas Office of Community Care Fund

Donations pledged through this page will support the 44th annual celebration of the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., featuring a weeks’ worth of events focused on empowerment, diversity, and opportunity. These donations will enable the City to provide these events to the public free of charge, with the exception of the Scholarship & Awards Gala, which requires a purchased ticket.

In addition to providing support for the events of the annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration Week, donations will also contribute to the City of Dallas’ Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Scholarship Fund. Scholarships will be presented at the 44th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship & Awards Gala, to be held January 17, 2026. Tickets for the event may be purchased beginning November 1.

An early bird 20% discount for gala tickets will be offered during November.
