Honoring a Legacy of Faith, Gratitude, and Giving
The Leonard R. Davis Foundation was established to honor the life and enduring legacy of Leonard R. Davis, a devoted pastor, minister, and passionate advocate for higher education.
Both born and called home on Thanksgiving Day, Leonard Davis lived a life rooted in faith, gratitude, generosity, and service to others. His commitment to uplifting individuals and strengthening communities continues to inspire the Foundation’s mission.
Our Mission
The Leonard R. Davis Foundation is committed to three guiding principles:
Preserving His Legacy: Honoring Reverend Davis’s ministry by preserving his sermons, teachings, and written works for future generations.
Inspiring Generosity: Encouraging acts of kindness, charitable giving, and community service that reflect his lifelong spirit of gratitude.
Supporting Higher Education: Providing scholarship opportunities for students pursuing higher education, with special emphasis on those attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).
Through these initiatives, we strive to transform Reverend Davis’s legacy into lasting opportunities for others.
