Since 1972, using Shakespeare’s works as a cornerstone, Shakespeare Dallas has served North Texas with fun and accessible indoor and outdoor theatre, integrated school programs, and cultural enrichment for people of all ages and backgrounds.

The Shakespeare Dallas Board of Directors is an active, engaged group of individuals from diverse backgrounds and areas of expertise ranging from education and law to the arts and sales. Their goal is for their board to closely reflect the diversity of the communities they serve.

New board members are asked to contribute $1,500 in yearly board dues. Past board experience, fundraising experience, earned income strategies or business operations are a few key areas in which they would like to grow their board.

They are seeking three board members; board members serve for a three-year term. Monthly board meetings alternate between sessions for the full board and those for the executive committee and board chairs. Meetings are currently held via Zoom. Board members serve on at least one committee.
